What Materials Are The Sandwich Panels Made Of?

Sandwich plate is a self-supporting composite plate composed of bimetallic surface and insulating core material bonded between two metal surfaces. It integrates fire prevention, thermal insulation, waterproof, weather resistance, wind resistance, compression resistance, sound absorption and sound insulation. In recent years, it has been widely used in various industrial buildings. The sandwich panel is composed of surface material and core material. 1. Steel plate

The color coated steel plate is made of cold-rolled steel plate, electro galvanized steel plate, hot-dip galvanized steel plate or aluminum zinc plated steel plate as the substrate. After degreasing, phosphating and chromate treatment, the organic coating is continuously roller coated and baked. The whole process goes through a series of production management and quality control. Common coatings for color coated steel plates include PVDF polyvinylidene fluoride, HDP high weather resistant polyester, PE polyester coating, etc.

2. Aluminum plate

Excellent corrosion resistance can improve the overall durability of the building, which is the same cycle as the building life. It has good flexibility and processing performance. The paint surface is non explosive. It can be processed into various complex aggregate shapes such as plane and arc. It is light in weight but high in strength and has higher recycling value.

3. Rock wool / glass wool

Rock wool sandwich board is a kind of sandwich board made of basalt. It has excellent fire protection performance, good sound insulation performance and sustainable recycling. Non combustible glass wool, light weight, small thermal conductivity, good sound absorption effect, good waterproof performance, corrosion resistance, good chemical stability, good processing performance, and good economic applicability.

4. Polyurethane PIR / pur

Rigid polyurethane has the characteristics of moisture-proof, waterproof, fireproof, flame-retardant, high temperature resistance, freeze-thaw resistance and sound absorption. With ultra-high temperature stability and fire rating, and no Freon emission, energy saving and environmental protection, it can be widely used in industrial building cold storage projects.

Different sandwich panel materials can be selected according to different project properties. In addition, sandwich panels have obvious advantages in terms of quick installation and put into use, detachability and turnover and reuse index of materials, and are indispensable new lightweight building materials.
