1. Different production processes
The production processes of galvalume sheets and cold-rolled steel sheets are different. Cold-rolled steel plates are mechanically processed and undergo processes such as rolling, heating, cooling, and trimming to finally obtain the product. Galvalume plate is a layer of aluminum-zinc alloy plated on the surface of the steel plate and processed through a special process. This process can effectively extend the service life of steel plates and improve mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
2. Different mechanical properties
The mechanical properties of galvalume and cold-rolled steel sheets are also different. Cold-rolled steel plates have relatively high strength and hardness, but poor toughness and are easy to break. The galvanized sheet has good toughness and plasticity, can adapt to complex architectural modeling needs, and is not easy to deform and break.
3. Different corrosion resistance properties
Since the surface of galvalume plate is coated with a layer of aluminum-zinc alloy, it has good corrosion resistance, can be used for a long time under harsh weather conditions, and is not easily corroded. Cold-rolled steel plates only have a certain anti-corrosion ability after the surface has been spray-painted and other treatments, but their service life is relatively short.
